This yearly charity ride raises awareness and support for men’s prostate cancer research and treatment, as well as men’s mental healthcare. Benefiting the Movember Foundation, this ride is near and to our hearts here at Road Dirt, as several of us have found ourselves dealing with those issues in our own lives.

ADV Racing at Sturgis TT

So it’s not surprising that another new category has been introduced, this time in American Flat Track. The category, called AdventureTrackers, made its inaugural debut at Sturgis, SD recently with its first race conducted on a road/dirt course of the Sturgis TT.
Not only was it a successful race, but it appears a new rivalry has emerged as a result, between Harley-Davidson teams racing the Pan America 1250, and teams running Triumph’s Tiger 1200 GT and Rally Pro bikes. A Honda Africa Twin team ran as well, and some big-name racers piloted these ADV bikes in the race. It appears the trial run of the class was a crowd pleaser as well, with lots of social media buzz about the race from Sturgis attendees on hand for it.

Triumph Motorcycles British Invasion Tour

Triumph North America has been touring their 2024 motorcycle lineup across the States over the past couple of months, showcasing their latest and greatest for the new year. Road Dirt guys Rob and Phil had the chance to attend the “British Invasion Tour” evening in Atlanta, and Triumph threw a fantastic party. With a packed house of Brit bike enthusiasts, a local blues/rock act keeping the place hopping, and the drinks flowing, Triumph pulled the wraps off several new models they’ve debuted for 2024, for patrons to get up close and personal with.
