FIRST LOOK: Triumph Motocross Motorcycle

Triumph Motorcycles has been teasing their work on a motocross motorcycle for a few years now, and we even published a piece on the R&D of it. Triumph is taking the plunge into the dedicated off-road space, not just with a dual sport or another ADV, but a competition-ready race machine. As the R&D has progressed, Triumph has shared videos of the chassis and the motor, which can be viewed on their YouTube channel. They shared a few photos with us of Ricky Carmichael and Even Ferry ripping around a dirt track astride a pair of the motocross motorbikes.

TOBC Racing Set To Defend Daytona 200 Title

The TOBC-Triumph racing team returns to the Daytona 200 aiming to repeat Brandon Paasch’s sensational win in last year’s race. For the 2023 race, a win by either Paasch or teammate Danny Eslick would further cement the legacy of the TOBC-Triumph team and the iconic Street Triple. It would also make history for both the winning rider and team principal Michelle Lindsay.

They now prepare to celebrate two milestones- 120 years of manufacturing world-class motorcycles, and rolling out their one millionth machine since reorganizing and relaunching in 1990. The one-off, special edition Tiger 900 Rally Pro was unveiled at Triumph’s global headquarters in Hinckley, England by the company’s CEO, Nick Bloor, in the presence of the entire UK team. The choice of the Tiger 900 Rally Pro was the ideal bike to receive the honor, being such a versatile, all-terrain, do-everything motorcycle, truly representative of the brand’s history and capabilities.

Triumph’s racing pedigree runs deep, and their iconic bikes from the 1950s-60s still drive the styling of their entire Bonneville line. The flagship of their “modern classic” parallel twins line has long been the Thruxton model, and for 2022 the Brits are honoring the roots of this unique machine by debuting a special edition tribute to the racing and café racer days of the iconic bike.
