The annual Daytona Beach Bike Week is a great many things to a great many people. From a wide variety of races, to biker parties day and night up and down Main Street, to scenic rides along the beach or through the lush Florida interior, many motorcycle riders consider Daytona Bike Week as the official kick-off of riding season. Hundreds of thousands make the “pilgrimage” from across the continent and even from around the world to experience the spectacle and join in the festivities.

Incredibly, in 81 years of the famous Black Hills Motorcycle Rally, there has never been an official Sturgis Rally Wrap Party. In 2021 that changes as Why We Ride, MOTOvational.org and the legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip host the VIP Sturgis Rally Wrap Party benefitting Treasured Lives. The limited seat event is a way to say, “until we meet again” and is aimed at motorcycle industry VIPs, brand leaders and all those who cannot imagine life without two wheels. Harley-Davidson has announced plans for the all-new Hometown Rally, a Labor Day weekend celebration of moto-culture centered in Milwaukee, the city where it all began for the Motor Company. The Harley-Davidson Museum will serve as a central rally point Sept. 2-6, 2021, for events taking place at that downtown site and at six surrounding Harley-Davidson® dealerships.

With the departure several years ago of the Progressive International Motorcycle Show from Atlanta (or the entire southeast, for that matter), the Great American Motorcycle Show fills that gap left behind for us here in the Deep South. Men and women, young and old, from across the spectrum of our great land, came together to share and enjoy our common passion- all things 2-wheels (and sometimes 3) and a motor.
