Geoff Nickless is a legend in motorcycle racing photography. Snapping flat track, motocross and road racing since the 1970s, Geoff has captured the greats of the sport, and has a museum-worthy collection of extraordinary photos from the golden age of American motorcycle racing that is unrivaled. He’s shared some of his favorites here before, and when we learned of Wes Cooley’s passing last month, we reached out to Geoff for his favorite Cooley photos over the years. A Soaking Weekend At The Barber

Despite a weekend at Barber Motorsports Park that featured horrendous weather and difficult racing conditions, the 2021 MotoAmerica Superbike Series ended as it should have with Jake Gagne winning a record 17th race to put an exclamation point on a season like no other.

AMA Ice Racing Championships

Although ice racing has certainly become a popular sport for motorcyclists up here in the Midwest, it’s definitely one that deserves more coverage and appreciation within the wider powersport community. Personally, I’ve lived in Milwaukee for 5 years now and only recently even heard of it. It’s one of those situations that unless you know someone that’s racing, you probably won’t find out much about it. In fact, it wasn’t until the 2021 High Voltage AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship on Sunday, February 21st that I actually got to experience my first live ice race. And let me tell you, I’ll definitely be making appearances at next year’s ice races.

Monster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha’s Cameron Beaubier leaves New Jersey Motorsports Park and heads to Barber Motorsports Park this week with a massive 84-point lead in the 2020 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship after what was another walk-in-the-park victory for the four-time series champion. Over in Liqui Moly Junior Cup and Twins Cup, 15-year old “Boy Wonder” Rocco Landers dominated both classes, both days, with four wins across the weekend to claim the points lead in both.
