Indian Motorcycle marks a decade of supporting and sponsoring the annual Veterans Charity Ride (VCR), a veteran-led non-profit organization that specializes in motorcycle therapy to aid combat wounded veterans healing from physical and mental trauma. Entering the 10th year of partnership, Indian Motorcycle and VCR are commemorating the motorcycle therapy program with a Memorial Day reunion, welcoming returning VCR vets who have experienced the life-changing therapy to celebrate life and honor fallen U.S. soldiers.

“America’s First Motorcycle Company” introduced this week the next evolution of their iconic Indian Scout. The lineup builds on its rich history with five completely redesigned models, three trim levels, and more than 100 Scout family accessories and farkles for customization and personalization. We got a sneak peek on Tuesday, and already eagerly anticipate the opportunity to take any/all of these for a spin, hopefully an extended one (or two).

Triumph Motorcycles British Invasion Tour

Triumph North America has been touring their 2024 motorcycle lineup across the States over the past couple of months, showcasing their latest and greatest for the new year. Road Dirt guys Rob and Phil had the chance to attend the “British Invasion Tour” evening in Atlanta, and Triumph threw a fantastic party. With a packed house of Brit bike enthusiasts, a local blues/rock act keeping the place hopping, and the drinks flowing, Triumph pulled the wraps off several new models they’ve debuted for 2024, for patrons to get up close and personal with.

With the coming of the new year, all the motorcycle brands are busy debuting their new models for 2024. Indian just pulled the wraps off their all-new premier touring rig, the Roadmaster Elite, and it’s a stunner. We thought we’d share some info they sent us on it. We’re hoping to get a chance to sample one this year, either at our HQ in Georgia, or maybe in SoCal this spring/summer. They will be a very limited edition, however.

Excellence & Elegance: Harley-Davidson’s CVO Line

Harley-Davidson debuted four top-tier 2024 CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) motorcycles this week, and as expected, they are drop-dead gorgeous and packed with the latest in cutting edge tech. The Motor Company unwrapped their 2024 Street Glide and Road Glide CVO models, both running on the Milwaukee-Eight 117 mill and containing an all-new “infotainment” system among other enhancements. With the CVO line celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, H-D unveiled a new pair of CVOs, a Road Glide ST high performance bagger sporting a hopped-up Milwaukee-Eight 121 HO engine, inspired by their success in the MotoAmerica King of the Baggers series of recent years, and a surprising and striking CVO Pan America adventure bike.

Stunning Supercross 2024 Season Opener

We are barely into 2024, motorcycle racing has begun in earnest, and already a record has been broken. Jett Lawrence, in his inaugural race in the 450SX Class, took the win in dramatic fashion at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium, becoming the first rookie to snag a victory on their 450SX debut in the 50-year history of AMA Supercross.

Top Five Fave Bikes of 2023

After some discussion, a little debate, and maybe a thumb-wrestling match or two, here are our top five favorite motorcycles that we got to ride in 2023. We’ll review them in reverse order from fifth to first. We also have a few “honorable mentions” to toss in at the end as well. We must point out that there was not a bike we rode in 2023 that we didn’t love, so just because some aren’t mentioned doesn’t mean they are not great bikes. We just decided to drill down on a few faves.
