Rolling the Stars & Stripes at COTA, and a track near you

The most spectacular overtake in last weekend’s MotoGP races at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, was Ai Ogura on his Aprilia RS-GP26 machine. Splashed in vivid red/white/blue, the stars & stripes liveried motorcycles of Trackhouse Racing were unmistakable, and arguably the most stunning bikes of the race weekend. They certainly grabbed our attention. Trackhouse is an independent Aprilia satellite team, HQed in Concord, North Carolina. Ogura is partnered with fellow rider Raúl Fernández for the 2026 season, and in celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary, the team showed up with their bikes proudly American for the U.S. round.

Aprilia is actually producing a limited run of commemorative motorbikes, mostly for the American market, but a few to be offered worldwide. The Aprilia X 250th is a drop-dead gorgeous facsimile of the GP machines the Trackhouse Racing team are rolling, and for a cool $150K you can own one yourself. Of course, it’s not street legal, running a V4 65°, 1099cc mill with SBK racing specifications. It’s clearly meant to make the same technology developed in racing available to those who intend to compete at top levels in factory derivative series, or for those who want to own an RSV4 or Tuono V4 with top tier performance.

And who want to shout “‘Merica!” every time and everywhere they ride and/or display it.

Yeah, baby. Photo by Aprilia Racing.

Aprilia is only producing 30 of these 250th American anniversary bikes, so obviously the majority are destined for American owners, with 25 of them coming stateside. In addition to the limited and numbered edition of the Aprilia X 250TH, buyers will also receive a Yashi laptop with the software to manage the ECU parameters and electronic strategies, a mat, a personalized bike cover, RCB titanium front and rear stands, and IRC tire covers.

Massimo Rivolo, Aprilia’s CEO of Racing, gave this comment about the Aprilia X 250th:

“Once again, Aprilia Racing introduces an exclusive product which is even closer to a MotoGP bike. The Aprilia X 250TH is clearly an item for true connoisseurs- something unrivaled. Over the years, the X bikes have become highly sought after for both collectors and for those seeking to experience a thrill that is extremely close to what MotoGP riders feel.”

Not to mention, it’s just American bad ass looking.

So if you think you’d like to get your hands on one, and you have the available quid, get your name on the list with Aprilia. We’ll drop a link below for more info.
